► Project :

"An enhancement of community engagement in the built environment through the use of AI to democratise and engage the community in the planning process"

This project aims to build on existing community engagement methodologies such as the King’s Foundations Enquiry by Design process, and his research into the digitisation of historical mapping and the impact of urban trauma. David aims to use AI to further digitise the process to significantly increase access to these elite methodologies.

David aims to use his fellowship to explore the potential use of large language models (LLM’s) etc to help enable communities to guide developmement by learning from the historical community voice. He also intends to explore using AI to help visualise potential development options for communities. This is in the context of creating or recreating sustainable communities.
