Exposition, GATES
Du 9 septembre 2025 au 26 septembre 2025

Eugenia Reznik, GATES Post-doc fellow, will be presenting an exhibition at the MACI.
The exhibition Landscapes on the Move: Shifting Perspectives on Migrating Plants accompanies and extends a study day of the same name. It brings together five international artists - Eileen Hutton (Ireland), Christine Mackay (Ireland), Tina Marais (France), Eugenia Reznik (France), and Patil Tchilinguirian (Canada) - whose works are inspired by the intersections of botany, biology, and the human sciences. Through a blend of video, drawing, textile art, printmaking, and installation, the artists explore how plant migration reshapes landscapes and fosters new relationships between humans and plants.
This exhibition will be held from September 9 to 26, 2025, on the 1st and 2nd floors of MACI with an opening on September 9 at 5:30PM following the conference Landscapes on the Move: Shifting Perspectives on Migrating Plants.
A guided tour led by Eugenia Reznik is scheduled for September 17 at 12:00 p.m.
Eugenia Reznik is a Ukrainian-French-Canadian visual artist who resides and practices her art in both Canada and France. She holds a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Kiev and a Master’s degree in Visual and Media Arts from the University of Quebec in Montreal, where she also defended her PhD in 2023.
