Atelier / Recherche
Le 17 avril 2025

This workshop is organised by Sibel ERDURAN, GATES Distinguished Research Fellow at the MaCI.
This interactive workshop offers researchers a space to reflect on their writing practices and develop their ongoing projects. It will focus on the challenges and issues faced by early career researchers (doctoral, postdoctoral and junior researchers) in their writing process. Participants will share experiences in writing and use heuristics provided by the seminar leader to facilitate their writing. Practical tools, such as argument frameworks, will be explored to help structure academic publications.
The session will also cover the publication process, including peer review and how to manage feedback.
Participants are expected to bring a sample of their own writing that is under development to receive constructive feedback for the subsequent steps in their manuscript development.
The workshop will involve group discussions with active participation, including short presentations, and will be conducted in English.
Sibel ERDURAN is a Professor of Science Education at the Department of Education, University of Oxford, United Kingdom where she is a Fellow of St Cross College.
