Call for Papers - Semiotic and Cognitive Potential of Multimedia in Counter-Propaganda

The colloquium aims to provide a forum for exploring the cognitive and semiotic nature of multimodality in media serving the purposes of counter-propaganda. The event will consist of the presentation of Ievgueniia Bondarenko's GATES research followed by a round-table discussion.
As part of the GATES project, an evening talk will be presented by Zaman MUHAMMAD, Professor at Quaid-i-Azam University (Pakistan) and GATES Senior Fellow.

Dans le cadre de cet appel, le dispositif des thèses en miroir (Matching PhDs) est ouvert à tout projet ayant l’objectif de développer des partenariats internationaux en sciences humaines et sociales au sein de la Maison de la Création et de l'Innovation (MaCI).
GATES Talks
Introduced in 2024 at the MaCI, the GATES Talks are a seminar series designed to foster collaboration and exchange between GATES fellows and the scientific community at Université Grenoble Alpes.
Throughout the year, GATES fellows and postdoctoral fellows are invited to present their research through conferences addressing a wide range of topics in the humanities and social sciences. The talks are held in French or English.
