Research
From 6 February 2025 to 7 February 2025
The Grenoble pre-conference, on 6 and 7 February 2025, is a preparatory event for the World Economic History Congress 2025, in Lund, Sweden. It brings together specialists in the history of aluminium and steel, materials whose production and uses are at the heart of the industrialisation process.
What can a comparative approach teach us about the major challenges of ‘sustainable development’? A panel of international researchers will address these questions from economic, social and political, as well as technical and environmental, perspectives.
Working languages: English and French.
